Kitchen Extension, Loft Conversion & Complete Home Reconfiguration

This project demonstrates how thoughtful design and expert craftsmanship can completely transform the way a home is lived in. Working closely with the homeowners, Purkiss Builders delivered a comprehensive renovation that created more space, improved functionality and modernised the property's layout while respecting the character of the original home.

The project centred around the construction of a roof extension, creating valuable additional living space and maximising the property's potential without the need to move. Downstairs, the existing kitchen was completely reconfigured into a bright, open-plan living space designed for modern family life, with improved natural light and a seamless connection between cooking, dining and entertaining.

As part of the renovation, we also relocated the family bathroom to a more practical position within the property, making far better use of the available space and improving the overall flow of the home. To complement the new layout, a purpose-built utility room was constructed, providing valuable storage and helping to keep the main living areas clutter-free.

From structural alterations and roofing works through to internal layouts, plumbing, electrics and the final finishing touches, Purkiss Builders managed every stage of the project from start to finish.
